The H R Trust has set up an independent Scientific Review Board to help it decide how to fund research projects.
Periodically the H R Trust issues calls for proposals for research on Histiocytoses and the role of the Board is to review applications and recommend the best application to the H R Trust Trustees for funding.
The Board utilises a peer review system modelled on those used by major granting bodies such as the Medical Research Council, the National Institutes for Health and the Wellcome Trust.
Members of the SRB are:

Professor Alain Fischer, Professor of Paediatric Immunology, France
Professor Ron Jaffe, Director of Laboratories at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh
Professor Hugh Perry of the University of Southampton, School of Biological Sciences
