The Nikolas Symposium
The Nikolas Symposium is an international conference attended by leading scientists, pathologists and clinicians from all over the world. The objective of the event is to develop further understanding of LCH, design improved treatment plans and find new methods of treatment.
The conference takes place annually in Greece and was first held in 1989. The Symposium's mission is to investigate the causes and better treatments of the disease as well as seek a rational cure. www.niksym.org
The Artemis Association
The Artemis Association, which is based in Greece, comprises of parents, patients, doctors and friends. Its objectives include supporting patients and their families, motivating and supporting research, continuous communication and keeping up to date with the latest treatments.
